In recent days, I've seen quite a few KOLs discussing @brevis_zk. Brevis has also received endorsements from Vitalik Buterin, Tom Lee, the official ETH account, and the BNB Chain official account, essentially making it a grand slam player on Infofi. Regarding the project itself, everyone should have seen enough information over the past few days, so I won't elaborate further. Let me take a moment for a brief nostalgia trip. My first interaction with Dr. Dong @no89thkey dates back to 2018, when I was still writing columns for Baihua and participated in the translation of the @CelerNetwork white paper. At that time, ETH had just begun exploring scaling solutions, and for those who entered the space in the last two years, what they encountered was Rollup. Little did they know that the earliest solutions from 2017 to 2019 were state channels (Raiden Network and Celer) and Plasma (not the stablecoin public chain of today, but the predecessor of Rollup). Celer's state channel technology was the most advanced at that time, but later ETH completely pivoted to Rollup, abandoning other technical solutions. As a result, Celer transformed into a cross-chain bridge, becoming the absolute representative project of HTLC (Hash Time-Locked Contracts) among the three major cross-chain bridge paradigms. HTLC bridges were also the safest cross-chain bridge solutions at that time. Later, Cbridge evolved into State Guardian Network + optimistic Rollup, and also integrated Celer IM, which not only serves as an asset bridge but also supports cross-chain messaging (used to invoke contract functions on other chains). So @brevis_zk didn't just come out of nowhere; Dr. Dong has been deeply involved in the blockchain space, especially on the technical frontier of ETH, for many years, which led to Brevis standing at the forefront of the ZK wave. My next encounter with Dr. Dong was in 2023 when the concept of zk coprocessors (ZK co-processors) emerged. At that time, I was at ABCDE, and I discussed ZK with Dr. Dong extensively. By the end of 2023, I, @Kristian_cy, and Dr. Dong @no89thkey co-authored the research report "A Deep Dive into ZK Coprocessor and Its Future," during which I was very Bullish on Brevis. Two years later, Brevis has finally shone brightly, leading in terms of proof time, cost, and collaborative projects, even getting Vitalik excited. This might be the first time he has seen the engineering blueprint to realize the Fully Snarked Ethereum vision with consumer-grade hardware, relatively reasonable costs, and sufficiently fast speeds over the next few years. What else is there to say? @brevis_zk LFG! @no89thkey awesome!
