the easier and saner path is to hold blue chips over cycles, rotating into emergent challengers during rallies and taking some profit slowly. after that you can play in the trenches w/o fear. but w/o the first phase your have a strong chance of dying in those trenches.
e.g. you should be an ETH holder who accumulates SOL and ZEC (and maybe HYPE going forward). and should patiently do this over a few years.
