This week, we’re prototyping an onchain authenticator to tackle one of crypto’s persistent headaches: bot exploitation of airdrops. Let’s break it down 🧵 👇
2/ Airdrops are meant to reward real users. Bots dilute that purpose. We’re exploring verification methods like liveness detection and zero-knowledge proofs (e.g., passports) to bring meaningful sybil resistance on-chain.
3/ Engineering highlights: - Built a server prototype to handle client proving requests - Started an authentication contract in Solidity - Integrated Foundry to run mock simulations - Testing end-to-end flows with dummy data
4/ Next step: connect the authenticator to actual utility contracts to test real-world integration. We’re still early, but making steady progress toward more human-proof crypto. Stay tuned.
