Falcon just announced the $FF tokenomics.
Here's a summary of the key points:
1. Insider dumping prevention: 1-year lock-up for the team/investors, 3-year vesting.
This means that the team (20%) and investor (4.5%) allocations will not be released to the market for a full year after the TGE (1-year cliff).
After that, they will be gradually released over the next 3 years (3-year vesting).
This avoids the worst-case scenario of insider dumping right after the TGE (instead, I will dump it, lol).
2. Community rewards: 8.3% allocated for early contributors.
This is the allocation for the sales we are currently participating in: Miles, YapToFly, and BuildPad.
But that's not all; a much larger allocation of 35% is set aside under the 'ecosystem' category.
This will likely be used for the next airdrop or ecosystem growth funds, like a Season 2.
It shows that they will continue to support long-term participants.
3. Design for holders: Staking will boost the next farming.
This is a very interesting part: if you stake the $FF you received and convert it to $sFF, you will receive additional rewards in the Miles program.
If you reinvest the tokens received from the airdrop instead of selling them, the efficiency of the next airdrop farming will increase.
This seems to be a strategy similar to SPK.
They also say they will provide interest in the form of USDf or FF to holders. Stable pension? lol
But the airdrop coins are best sold immediately on Upbit, lol.

I haven't been following so closely.... but $DAI is still around right? So as $MKR is burned for $SKY, wouldn't it make $MKR more valuable? It is still needed for interest on outstanding DAI right?

if you hold mkr, now is the best time to upgrade to sky.
voting starts today to confirm the delayed upgrade penalty. if approved, it goes live september 22: every upgrade delay costs you 1% less sky, increasing every 3 months by 1%. over 630k mkr has already moved, earning ~15% in usds and ~14% in spk.
the longer you wait, the more rewards you lose for nothing. mkr price action is the same as sky because of the conversion, with the difference that sky gives you rewards and governance power.
if you sit on mkr, you receive less sky as the penalty kicks in.
